Costa de la Luz is fast becoming the premier kitesurfing and windsurfing destination in Europe. Some of Spains best golf courses can be found in the area. Relatively undeveloped, the Costa de la Luz is home to several natural parks which are home to rare species including the Spanish Imperial Eagle, Iberian Lynx and, in season, migratory birds including storks and flamingos.
