Amazing five days in paradise! I booked a garden villa and decided to upgrade to a water villa! Worth every dime! The house reef is amazing with a free guided snorkel excursion daily! My Swedish massage was the best I have had in years! Staff is amazing! I’ve got a lot of allergies and they created a meal daily so I could eat! It might be a long flight to get here, but you will be in feel calm, rejuvenated, and at peace when you leave!

Reethi Faru is amazing. We've just had 12 nights there in beach villa 350 on the sunrise side. This was perfect for us, with lots of privacy due to the planting between the villas, just yards from the beautiful beach. The food in Vakaru main restaurant is fabulous - thanks to the executive chef and his team who take the time to talk to guests about the food. The staff obviously care about their work and it shows. One of the chefs is an artist who decorates the food beautifully, does watermelon carvings and even an ever changing sand sculpture. Our waiter, Satheeth, deserves a special mention and thanks for being so lovely and efficient, happy to chat although he was busy and telling us facts about the island and finding us a table in our favourite area. The bar staff at the couple of bars we used most, quickly learnt what we were likely to order. The house reef is fabulous with good coral growth, loads of beautiful fish, a couple of turtles, rays and small sharks. There are several good entrances through the coral giving a choice of routes to snorkel. Laura, the Marine Biologist is very willing to chat about her work and the ocean and also deserves a special mention. Don't miss her Technical Tour of behind the scenes, which demonstrates how hard the resort is working on sustainability and we get to see some of the workings of the resort. We also did coral planting with Laura which was a great opportunity for us. The Manta Ray snorkel trip from the Dive Centre was also fabulous and we got to swim with several incredible mantas at 3 different spots. The free Sunset Trip is also worth doing as it takes you very close to a local island to see a glimpse of real island life, although there is a trip to a local island too but we didn't do that as we have done one on a previous island. I can't praise Reethi Faru enough and it's great to see a resort caring about the environment as well as providing a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much to all the staff, we hope to be back.
