Behind the 19th century façade of the Quinta da Bela Vista lies a hotel of great sophistication and luxury. An elegant, ancestral manor house, uniquely managed, this hotel has been in the hands of the same family since 1844 and is renowned for its first-class cuisine, personal service and warm hospitality. Situated three kilometres from Funchal town centre, in a quiet residential area and among stunning established gardens, this hotel commands wonderful panoramic views towards Funchal's amphitheatre and bay.
The Quinta's welcoming public rooms are furnished with antiques, while the luxuriously-appointed guest rooms comprise either individual suites, situated in the Manor House or traditionally furnished bedrooms, housed in the hotel's modern wing.
