The ancient archaeological site in the gardens and original Corinth capitals in the lobby have been lovingly restored, adding vast historical appeal to the hotel. Modern touches such as a rooftop pool, a state of the art gym plus tennis and squash courts, watersports, a library and a boutique full of goodies provide much in the way of entertainment for the discerning guest. Rooms are equipped with furniture made by local artisans, meaning Annabelle is not only tasteful but sustainable as well.

As the birthplace of Aphrodite, Paphos has a lot to live up to. Yes, it is indeed touched by love and beauty - the mountains cascade gracefully into the sea, the hinterland has history and folklore and the towns bustle with excitement and promise. Paphos is however far more than just a romantic ideal. Travellers the world over are lured to Cyprus by its promise of sea and sun. And with an average of 326 days of sunshine a year, the promise is kept more or less every day.
But there is far more to Paphos than just the beach. At just 2,400 years old, modern Paphos is just a baby compared to the rest of Cyprus. The city is packed full of Hellenic charm; every July and August, Paphos gets the full Greek tragedy treatment when dramas by Aeschylus, Sophocles, Euripides, Aristophanes and others are acted out in the odeon - an amphitheatre that dates from prehistoric times to the middle ages - for the International Festival of Ancient Greek Drama.
If you want a change from the city’s myriad of archaeological sites (and sights!) or are bored with the beach then head inland. Venture up the hill to the quiet hamlet of Ktima Paphos, which is less touristy and bursts with local, colonial style buildings currently that have been restored to their former glory. You’ll also find a great market, authentic street shops and a wonderful view of the harbour below.

The Half Board package includes breakfast and lunch or dinner. A buffet dinner is included or set dinner menus in the Amorosa and Mediteranneo restaurants or a sharing menu at Ouranos. Buffet dinner is taken at the Fontana Restaurant. Guests can choose between lunch or dinner and are entitled to a €35 daily á la carte allowance per adult for either lunch or dinner available on any á la carte menus at Annabelle and participating restaurants at the sister hotel, Almyra.
