Certification / Legalisation / Translation of all documents?
All documents must be officially certified (legalised) by the Legalisation Department at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London. Please contact them before you send your documents to check up-to-date prices and if there are any delays with the documents. All documents must then be scanned and sent to Rhodes to be translated into Greek (translations will be finalised in resort on presentation of your original documents) which will incur costs – your Wedding Coordinator can advise you of the current prices. In Rhodes you need to arrange final documentation and Marriage License applications. Costs for transport to and from the Town Hall will be incurred, payable locally.
Further information: All original documentation is kept by the local authorities in Rhodes. This documentation will not be returned to you.
