Meet our Holiday Expert Natasha
I wanted to work in the travel industry from a young age. I studied travel and tourism as a qualification and joined Sovereign soon after. I have now been with them for just over four years and experienced fantastic destinations such as the Turquoise Coast in Turkey and Antigua and most recently I have had the opportunity to visit two of our most popular destinations - Halkidiki and the Algarve region of Portugal.

Most Unusual Travel Moment
On a recent trip to Antigua I visited Stingray City, a must-do for any marine life lovers. Being able to swim so close to a Stingray was as unique and unforgettable as it was scary. A fantastic experience I would love to have again!
Favourite Hidden Gem
My hidden gem has to be Skiathos town. The town is a small, charming cruise port which hosts many visitors who are island hopping across Greece and the Mediterranean. The town sparks into life in the evenings when its restaurants, tavernas and craft shops open up for trade. But for something really special, I'd recommend the old part of town where traditional Greek life can be found.
Definitely my favourite meal was at the B&G a la carte restaurant at the Blue and Green Vilalara Thalassa Resort. I had amuse bouche which was scallop with a twist, then smoked salmon to start, followed by the most delicious steak served with sweet potatoes and wild mushrooms. If you can squeeze dessert in, they are a must try. I had two! The setting of this restaurant is pretty special, too. You get to dine surrounded by stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.
Top Travel Tip
The best way to see Skiathos is by boat. Private, or as part of a group. This way you can experience all the best spots. This can be easily arranged by contacting our resort team when you arrive on the island.
Favourite Sovereign Hotel
D-hotel Maris, Datca, Turkey. A favourite for any beach lover. The hotel's five beaches are all oustanding with the largest being given the Blue Flag award. 'Silence Beach' was my favourite. There is no better way to relax than on a soft sandy silent beach - Pure paradise!
