As one of Sovereign's newest team members I am excited to have the opportunity to visit many of our amazing destinations. The Aegean coast of Turkey has to be one of my favourite places. Its mix of ancient history, Eastern culture and world-class beaches make it such an enjoyable and diverse place to visit. Tenerife is also up there as being one of my favourite destinations. After visiting, I was so impressed with the standard of quality and service in the hotels.

Best meal
The Bahia Del Duque in Tenerife has a gorgeous Italian restaurant called La Trattoria. Its some of the best Italian food I have ever tried. Many of the dishes are traditional and the quality is amazing. I recommend the the lasagne and tortellini - both are excellent.
Favourite Sovereign hotel
The Ritz-Carlton, Abama is a very high standard luxury hotel in Tenerife, which boasts an idyllic location with an exclusive stretch of sand and has incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean. The service is outstanding and the guest rooms and suites are very spacious and luxurious. There is a fantastic choice of restaurants, too. I would recommend the beef jerky served at Txoko (a newly built restaurant by award-winning chef Martin Berasategui). The beef is so tender and unlike anything you may have experienced back home.
