I have been part of the Sovereign team for over two years but have spent my entire career working within the travel industry. I have always had a passion for travel and have enjoyed many holidays with friends and family. My favourite destinations are Greece, Turkey and the Canary Islands. These destinations offer great holidays especially for families. I am always enthusiastic to visit new places and to share my recommendations with customers, colleagues and friends who are planning their next holiday. Most of all, when I'm away, I like to try the local cuisine. One of my best experiences was seeing the Bangkok night market carnival. I was in awe by the quality and range of restaurants and cuisine.

Most memorable travel experience
My most memorable travel experience would have to be the first time I visited Thailand. I was lucky enough to visit Phuket, Koh Samui and Bangkok in one trip. Each destination was so varied, which I loved. I enjoyed everything from exploring the temples in Koh Samui and relaxing on Phuket’s beaches, to shopping in Bangkok (especially in the markets). The ultimate highlight for me, though, was feeding an elephant for the first time. Did I mention the Thai food is out of this world, too?
The Caribbean. I absolutely love the laid-back island vibes, sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.
Favourite Sovereign hotel
Blue Waters in Antigua. Located on a white-sand beach, with palm trees and clear waters, this hotel is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The restaurants are fantastic, too.
Top travel tip
Why not try a Caribbean multi-centre? Barbados can offer up a livelier island experience, while Antigua provides a more relaxed feel. The Caribbean airline, Liat, provides several flights per day between the islands, taking just 1 hour and 20 min. Island-hopping made easy!
Favourite hidden gem
The Dubrovnik Riviera – beautiful hotels, a stunning coastline and the city in easy reach. Dubrovnik itself is a fascinating walled city with a pretty harbour. The old town is a maze of cobbled streets which house a fantastic array of local restaurants, shops and bars - perfect for a short break getaway.
I always love to travel to new destinations discovering new cultures, beaches and food. Next on my holiday wish list is a multi-centre to Dubai and the Maldives. I would love to experience the hustle and bustle of Dubai (not forgetting the shopping), before heading off for a relaxing and romantic break to the Maldives – perfect for relaxation after all that shopping!
