Having visited half of the fabulous resorts (and counting!) Domes has to offer; our brand ambassador Natalia (@shedreamsofgucci) is in the perfect position to give her take on each property. So, stay tuned and enjoy a deep dive into each hotel!
What better place to start this blog than Domes of Elounda, Autograph Collection? Domes of Elounda quite literally re-defined the notion of a luxury holiday to become an experience. The first Domes resort was designed with families in mind, with plenty of accommodation options to suite all families or couples.
Situated across from the island of Spinalonga, guests are encouraged to take a trip to explore the historical island. Once inhabited by the leper colony of Spinalonga, the island was home to one of last active colonies in Europe and is now a UNESCO World Heritage site. Be sure to visit, or if you prefer, relax at the resort where you can get fabulous views of the island from TOPOS restaurant. Natalia shared her experience of TOPOS, calling it a “gastronomic delight. Located on the beach, we enjoyed a fabulous mainly seafood dinner, washed down with an excellent Cretan white, looking out to the east across the beautiful bay to Kalydon and Spinalonga.” There are four restaurants and bars to choose from, with a wide variety of dishes to satisfy the whole families’ tastebuds.
“The Blue Flag beach is perfect for tots as it is so shallow and very gently shelving with fine sand and subsequently, pleasantly warm water. There is also a kids club and crèche if you want some peace as well as Xbox for the teens if swimming, cycling, water sports & tennis don’t wear them out and they still need their fix”.
You can enjoy four swimming pools, with adult only and kid’s options, which means there’s plenty of space to escape and top up the summer tan. Your holiday wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Soma Spa, where you can delight in a range of treatments using high-quality ELEMIS products – the perfect way to treat yourself after a day exploring the resort and neighbouring islands.
Natalia enjoyed a stay in one of the Haute Living Luxury Two Bedroom Residence, where luxury is taken to another level. But don’t take our word for why you should upgrade to the Haute Living Selection, Natalia’s recommendation of this “slice of heaven” speaks volumes; “Privacy is a great thing, and we’ve loved the private pool - it’s like a villa holiday but with everything imaginable about 5 steps away (or in your room, if you’re so inclined you never leave!)”.
Natalia enjoyed her stay so much she is “undoubtedly coming back to this stunner of a place under our own steam again and to see the gorgeous staff who have embraced us as friends”.

Exclusive to adults, this luxury hotel has focused on providing sophisticated details throughout the resort. Domes Miramare is all about unpretentious luxury, tailored towards the modern-day couple.
Benefiting from a gorgeous beachfront and waterfront location, the only hotel in Corfu to offer this, Domes Miramare has views that are second to none. The facilities are designed to keep guests entertained, with personal training, yoga and spa treatments, a private stretch of beach to soak up the sun, and a range of water sports available through the hotel. Finish the day with a refreshing cocktail or two at one of the hotels bars or restaurants.
Natalia describes Domes Miramare, a Luxury Collection Resort as, ‘elevated luxury’. While luxury may come as standard across all the Domes resorts, Domes Miramare is set apart by its world-class restaurants and rooms that are “out of this world”! Natalia stayed in a Luxury Pavilion Sea View room, a wonderfully pleasant and spacious option– with a 7ft bed and private pool. The resort’s size is not overwhelming but instead offers a much more secluded feel than larger resorts in the area. Domes Miramare immerses the guest into Corfu life, seamlessly blending the built and natural environment surrounding the resort, Natalia comments:
“One of my favourite things about Domes Miramare is how it has been so sensitively designed around it’s environment. The olive tree in the main lounge area is over 500 years old and forms the focal point at the heart of the hotel. As soon as you arrive, you are struck by the rows of veteran olives and palms that feature throughout the resort, as well as thoughtful and typically Greek planting. Produce from the gardens are used in the restaurants and combines to really give a great sense of the identity of Corfu, the Green Island that has influenced this unique property”.
We also agree with Natalia when she says that sushi lovers must pay a visit to the RAW restaurant the sushi is incredible, so fresh and flavourful.
