Without further ado, introducing the latest destination in our Sovereign Spotlight series for January…GRENADA!

Grenada is a beautiful island in the Caribbean with pristine beaches, a fascinating world underwater and lush landscapes. We’ve picked out a few of our favourite things about Grenada for you to enjoy below.

Grand Anse Beach

Grenada’s famous white sand beach, Grand Anse, is one not to be missed on a trip to this wonderful island. Stretching over 3km in length, you’ll find this beautiful beach on the southwest coast. Visitors from all around the world are drawn to this spot thanks to its fine white sands and Caribbean palm trees swaying in the breeze. Enjoy a wide range of watersports along the coast or sit back and relax and just take in the view.

Underwater Sculptures

One of the most unique underwater adventures in the world, the underwater sculpture park in Grenada is quite spectacular. Located in the Molinere-Beauséjour Marine Reserve on the west coast of the island, the site is 8,600 sq ft and has over 75 works from several artists. At around 5-8 metres deep, you can see these wonders for yourself by going scuba diving or snorkelling. Alternatively, you can enjoy a tour on a glass bottom boat with several departures daily.

Seven Sisters Falls

For the more adventurous, take a hike to see the Seven Sisters Falls. You will find a succession of seven waterfalls, hence the name. Enjoy the scenery as you head through the Grand Etang Rainforest and see if you can spot all seven sisters. Stop off along the way and take a dip to refresh yourself, go for a swim or sit on the edge and just admire the natural beauty of the area.
