Natalia is a digital creator specialising in luxury travel, fashion and beauty based in Surrey, UK. She held a senior position as a travel industry expert for 10 years, which included contributing to advisory panels, specialist travel presenting, writing for well-known travel publications, advising the industry on financial matters and working with the government regulator... in between packing in as many holidays as she could!
Travel has always been a big part of her life with both parents working within the industry and her Dutch maternal family spending several centuries in Sri Lanka and India.
Best thing about being abroad? The immersive experience of different cultures and getting to escape the every day.
Favourite holiday memory? I have so many favourites! How about my first favourite memory… I remember being 5 years old and arriving onto the island of Maui with my family and being blown away by the tropical landscape, I’d never seen anything like it, it was incredible. I found a mini coconut on the beach that day, it never left my side on that trip!
Favourite country? It has to be Greece because of the history, people, beaches and unique identity of each island. The food is also amazing!
Favourite food? Thai - the depth of flavour, spices and citrus notes are delicious.
How many countries have you visited? Hard to count, I’d say over 40.
Where would you love to go next? Maldives is next on my wish list, I’d like to stay in a secluded waterfront villa and just enjoy the tranquillity of this tropical paradise.
