Covering 300 square miles, the park is home to forests, marshes and grasslands, much of which has been undisturbed and provides an excellent home for some of India’s most magnificent wildlife.

Monkeys, birds and bats reside in Periyar National Park, as well as Asian elephants, with chances to glimpse these shy creatures as you take a tour through their protected habitat. Take a boat trip across the still waters of Lake Periyar and admire the beautiful landscapes and wildlife along the way.
Kumarakom
