This Croatian itinerary combines a stay in the stunning coastal city of Split and a week of swimming, sailing and sunbathing on a private crewed yacht.
After flying into Split Airport, you’ll have a private transfer to take you straight to your hotel. You’ve got three full days in this beautiful coastal city, so there’s plenty of time to see the sights and make the most of the beaches.
Split’s historic highlight is Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO-listed jumble of Roman streets, arcades and buildings crafted from Italian marble and stone brought over from Brac Island. Don’t miss the waterfront promenade, either, where you’ll find stacks of cafes and restaurants.
Today you’ll weigh anchor and begin your week-long sailing trip. Your private transfer will pick you up from your hotel for the 25-minute drive down to the marina, where your crew will be waiting to welcome you aboard your home for the week: a sleek private yacht.
Your drinks preferences will have been taken before you arrived, so you’ll have a bottle of your favourite wine chilled and ready to be poured as you set sail out into the Adriatic.
Over the next week, your skipper will sail you along the spectacular Dalmatian Coast, stopping off at islands like Solta, Hvar, Vis and Brac. Hop ashore to explore ancient ruins and local markets, drop anchor in secluded bays and coves, and jump into the clear waters for a swim or snorkel whenever you fancy.
Your personal chef will be on hand to prepare and serve your meals on board, using fresh produce picked up in port. Your al fresco deck is the perfect place to dine – you can tuck into seafood salads and grilled steaks while watching pine-cloaked islands drift by in the distance. On day 12, after a final breakfast on board you’ll glide back into the marina, where your private transfer will be on hand to take you to the airport for your flight home.
