After a recent refurbishment and rejuvenation, the MarBella, Mar-Bella Collection is certainly sparkling and showing off its very best side. Décor throughout the hotel and rooms are minimalist while maintaining warmth and character. The guest rooms in particular are decorated in relaxing, earthy tones, with stone-tiled en suite bathrooms, some with rain showers. Suites take the luxury one step further, with private plunge pools on the patio area leading out from these two-bedroom rooms.
With 359 rooms, this hotel is extensive, but with some clever design work and landscaping, it manages to maintain an air of exclusivity. The fresh water and salt water pools are shaded by tall tropical palm trees and white canvas parasols, under which sunbathers can recline on luxury sun loungers. The small sandy beach also benefits from sun loungers and thatched parasols and leads down to crystal clear waters that sparkle in the sunlight.
For those in pursuit of adventure, a packed programme of water sports, hiking, mountain biking, and sports will keep you busy. Children of all ages are also suitably catered for with bespoke kids’ clubs to keep them entertained all day.
