Zafiro Palace Alcudia is a luxury five star hotel that offers it all. Whether you want to relax and unwind by a different swimming pool every day, head to the golden sands of the beach for the day or spend a day of pampering at the spa there are plenty of opportunities to unwind. Families will love the shallow children’s pool with its very own pirate ship, as well as a children’s buffet in the market restaurant and two Kids’ Clubs.
If you prefer to keep active there is plenty on offer. Mini golf, tennis, football matches and fitness classes are available at the hotel, as well as bicycle rental for those wanting to explore the surrounding area. About the location
Zafiro Palace Alcudia can be found on Majorca’s north east coast, overlooking the Bay of Alcudia. It’s within easy reach of a golden sandy beach, where you can relax on sun loungers and enjoy the dishes served at the beachside restaurants. Alcudia town itself is home to traditional Majorcan cobbled streets which lead to quiet squares and Roman ruins.
The historic old town is close by, and has city walls, quaint churches and little shops and cafés, while the more modern coastline has lively bars and an extensive marina. From here you can watch the luxury yachts and fishing boats, or book boat trips and explore the island from a different angle.

Travelled with our 21 month old daughter on our first holiday, stayed in a junior suite. Room was a great size for the three of us and the travel cot provided was great with a good mattress. We had a bit of a nightmare journey so it was lovely to be greeted with a warm welcome from reception staff and offered a chilled glass of champagne. We also had our room changed by the suggestion of reception to a quieter one which was really thoughtful and considerate of them seeing we were with a toddler. Resort was so family friendly but also with a nice mix of things for adults - lovely a la carte restaurants you can use as part of AI, sushi & tastes is fab. Selection of kids pools and play areas to keep little ones entertained all day. Tried the indoor pool on a rainy morning but the water was freezing, as were the outdoor pools but we did go beginning of September. Beach and shops are a short 10 min walk away Alcudia is so clean with lots of shops, bars etc. Food quality was mainly good, buffet a bit hit and miss depending on your personal tastes but always something, would definitely recommend using all of the a la cartes as all our meals were delicious in there and they have kids menus to accommodate the little ones. Staff were all so friendly and helpful, hotel is spotless, fantastic for kids would definitely return in a couple of years when our daughter is older. So glad we picked this hotel for our first family holiday. Thank you Zafiro Alcudia :)

I cannot highlight enough how great this resort is. We went with our 2 year old daughter and there was so much for her and for us to do. It was an incredibly relaxing holiday. We had a Zafiro Suite which was perfect to allow her to sleep in the lounge whilst we watched tv in the bedroom/sat on the balcony. All of the staff were fantastic and always made a fuss of our daughter which made her feel involved. The mini-club was perfect. Even though she was too young to attend we could sit with her whilst she got involved with the activities. We had an AI package which was great as it meant we could eat in the a la carte restaurants (of which there are 4) as well as in the main buffet restaurant. The buffet had fresh food made before you and for a buffet was excellent quality and lots of choice. The only minor negative was that the pools were a bit cold but you soon get used to it. All in all an absolutely fantastic family resort which I would not hesitate to recommend.

We had a great stay at the hotel overall. The room which was a junior suite was excellent and staff were polite and attentive throughout. There are a range of pools to choose from and we had a no problems getting a sunbed or lounger each day, though the water temperature was much colder than expected.
We were half board and ate in a few of the specialist restaurants and then the buffet other nights. The range and quality of the food was excellent though at times the buffet food wasn't very warm.
The only downside was the evening entertainment which was poor. We were aware this hotel was family friendly but felt it was very much catering just for the kids rather than adults.

Stayed here for a week all inclusive with my wife and 3 year old. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe and recently Dubai and have never seen facilities for children at this level. They have multiple pools with over 10 slides, a huge bouncer in one of the pools for you to climb and slide off, a huge climbing frame, a bouncy castle, a 9 hole miniature golf course and a a five aside football pitch! So for kids the options are endless. The restaurants options are good and you have access to literally most items including most top shelf alcohol if your all inclusive which is great value I think. The staff have been great also and are really friendly with the children which is really nice as you can see how happy it makes the little ones for some added attention. There is a nice beach nearby also if you want a change of scenery.
