About the location
Majorca’s smallest resort (and arguably its prettiest), Cala San Vicente’s fishing-village charm gives it an off-the-beaten-track appeal. An alternative to Majorca’s big beach superstars, Cala San Vicente moves at a mellower pace. It’s pretty blessed in the looks department, nestled in the island’s rocky northern coast against the jaw-dropping Sierra de Tramuntana Mountains. There’s a trio of beaches split by headlands, including Cala Molins, the most popular spot thanks to its honey-coloured sand and sunbeds. There’s a handful of beach cafes and restaurants along Cala Molins, which are good for lunch and low-key evenings. The clear water and rocky shore makes this part of the island perfect for snorkelling, too. If you fancy a day trip, Cala San Vicente is around a 10-minute drive from Pollensa, a medieval town with an arty vibe that’s popular for its cute craft shops and pavement cafes.

This small hotel with 38 rooms was a great find. Standards were fantastic with spacious room and very clean overall. Nice little touches like bottled water in room every day and if sitting by the pool, sorbet was served which was a special touch.
Staff were so helpful and a very extensive buffet breakfast was served outside or in if preferred. Hot selection was cooked to order and very well presented.
Evening food was of a very high standard.
Central location hotel with easy access to local amenities and wonderful little coves and beach near by.
Overall this hotel was great and attention to detail noticeable. If you want a peaceful holiday in this locality then this hotel is to be recommended especially for couples.

There have been changes since last season - a new bright restaurant beside the pool and fresh look to the lobby area but our autumn half term break was every bit as enjoyable as last year. The staff couldn't do enough for us. There's so much to do in the area and the weather was +24degrees - not bad for end of October! The cycling shop across the road provided road bikes for 2 teenagers determined to cycle Formentor and the beach is 3 minutes walk away with great spots for swimming and rock diving. Pollensa and Port de Pollensa are 10 minutes drive with a huge choice of great restaurants. We ate in the hotel restaurant for 4 out of 5 nights and the food was varied and good. I would say this is the perfect spot for couples or a family looking for a quieter style hotel. I wouldn't feel comfortable if the children were screaming around the place but it's great for us as we don't want children's club and non stop entertainment. The hotel is now closed for winter and I think reopens mid April next year. We would definitely return.
