About the location
Koh Samui is an old hand when it comes to holidays - it was the go-to island back when Thailand first started making waves on the travel scene. Visitors were originally drawn in by its white-sand beaches, nodding palms and first-rate snorkelling and diving. Nowadays, you can add luxury hotels, gourmet restaurants and slick beach clubs to the mix.
Chaweng is the liveliest resort on the island, with a big helping of restaurants, late-night bars and shops. The beach is one of Koh Samui's best, too. If you prefer things a little quieter, but still want amenities on hand, head a little way down the coast to Lamai. On the north coast, Bophut has a village feel, with lots of small cafés and restaurants (some right on the sandy beach), as well as shops selling handicrafts and local art, while Mae Nam has a huge, palm-edged sandy beach and a peaceful, laid-back feel.
30 minutes from Koh Samui aiport.
Villas measure 62m² and offer stunning sea views with luxurious cotton and bamboo interiors and spacious private balconies to enhance your in-villa experience. Each villa features a king size bed, Thai-style sofa suitable for sleeping one child, bathroom with terrazzo bath and rain shower, wide-screen LCD TV and DVD, air-conditioning, complimentary bottled water, luxury bath amenities and wireless internet.
Villa Suites measure 92m² offering the added luxury of a spacious master bedroom, airy living room with two Thai-style sofas, which can accommodate two children, outdoor living area with private massage sala and indulgent waterfall bath to ensure ultimate relaxation.
Oceanfront Pool Residences
Oceanfront Pool Residences start from 400m² offering the luxury of independent accommodation while also benefiting from the desirable resort facilities. Each features spacious living and dining areas, a fully-fitted kitchen and personal housekeeping services with private pool, massage sala, water features and terraces. Beautiful location. Quiet. Location requires taxi service as no transport provided. Good beach and some water sporting activities. Excellent professional staff. Villa accommodation perfect with space between villas and high standard of bed linen with the most comfortable King sized bed. Tennis court good. Club cars to collect and drop off around the resort which my husband needed due to an injury. Infinity pool good temperature although we had a pool villa so not used so often. We had expected a lounge (air conditioned area) but sadly this was lacking. In fact the bar was in between the pool and a bar billiards table so not convivial for adult evening relaxation. We tried various dishes on the menu but found the food not up to expected standard. This is a lovely boutique type hotel but not what we have become used to in a Luxury 5 star hotel. Ever the less the hospitality was second to none and from the heart.

After reading numerous positive reviews of Belmond Napasai, My partner and I decided to book our wedding/holiday at this hotel. What a great decision that was! From the moment we arrived there we were greeted by the friendliest of staff accommodating our every need. Our room was perfect, complete with fresh fruit, beautiful flowers and a bottle of champagne. Accompanied was the comfiest bed, huge granite bath tub both set in very spacious rooms. A great range of amenities and excellently kept grounds, we really cannot fault this hotel.
Eszter, our wedding coordinator, was perfect and really took the stress out of planning 'the big day'. She had every aspect of the wedding covered to the finest detail, leaving us to really enjoy every moment. We highly recommend couples to use Eszter as their wedding coordinator at the Belmond. You will not be disappointed!!
We will be sure to visit the Belmond again in the near future for a relaxing break. Perfection!
