About the location
Phuket, nicknamed the Pearl of the Andaman, is Thailand's biggest island, connected to the west coast of the mainland by a series of bridges. It's big on scenery, with wooded hills, plenty of tropical greenery and a halo of white-sand beaches.
The longest of Phuket's beaches is Mai Khao, which unravels along the coast for 11 kilometres. A good portion of the beach sits within a national park, so it's beautifully undeveloped and edged with pine and palm trees. Bang Tao, the second-longest beach, is still relatively quiet, but offers up more in the way of restaurants, bars and chic beach clubs. Other standout beaches include Karon, a wide curve of powdery sand, and Kata, one of the prettiest spots in Phuket.
If you fancy a late night, make your way to Patong - its main street, Bangla Road, is lined with neon bars and nightclubs.

The resort is an amazing place to spent your holiday. It really captures the beauty of Thailand. They also have a very very good spa. At the spa they offer a variety of massages for kids. It also has great places to enjoy Thai food and it is next to a mall where you can enjoy some food and drinks.
The resort also had a gym where everybody under 16 had to go with their parents. The sea was very good as well. The only bad thing was the clean up was at a bad time in the day either when you are getting ready for dinner or when you want to go in the pool. Also one resturant was very expensive. I really enjoyed staying at this resort

I can not express how amazing the staff at this hotel are. They will do everything possible to make you happy. I have stayed at a lot of 5 star hotels over the years but the service here is in a different league. From Nicolas,Ya, Care down to the maid Fon and Pen and everyone in the restaurants, spa (ask for Posh she is fab), tennis club, Jina (poolside) and everyone we met they went above and beyond to cater to our every need. The rooms are fantastic, everything you need is provided down to the mosquito spray and after sun! I can not speak highly enough of this hotel, we had the time of our lives here, oh yes and the beach is the best ever, 2 minutes walk and you have it all to yourselves. They will even pack you a picnic! Thank you everyone who looked after us. We will never forget your kindness.
