Luxury Abu Dhabi Holidays

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and invites you to an activity-packed, mondaine holiday where you can set your own pace. Nestled by the Persian Gulf, the skyline is adorned with iconic cosmopolitan skyscrapers and opulent, dramatic Islamic architecture that showcases the city’s proud Arabic heritage.

While nothing stands still for long in this forward-thinking metropolis, Abu Dhabi’s size makes it an easier city to navigate than its sister city, Dubai. No expense has been spared to ensure Abu Dhabi remains the cultural jewel in the Emirati crown, with its futuristic design, massive shopping malls and high-tech attractions.

With a vibrant contemporary art scene, the city is already gaining a reputation for its recently added world-class museums and galleries, including The Louvre Abu Dhabi.  Abu Dhabi is home to the iconic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest and grandest mosques in the world, which you can enter and explore.

Wander through the bustling souks within the city and find unique souvenirs, or head along waterways of serene mangrove forests. You can even experience a tropical beach holiday in Abu Dhabi at the city’s many beachfront hotels, while the call of golden desert sands is never far away either. Whichever way you turn, your luxury holiday in Abu Dhabi is bound to glitter.

A tip for good service will be appreciated in Abu Dhabi, although it’s not essential. Although 10% service charges may be added to your restaurant bill, this often doesn’t go to wait staff, so leave an extra 10% in cash for good service. Taxi fares can be rounded up to the nearest note, and between five and 20 UAE dirhams are customary for having your petrol pumped or bags brought to your room.
