Situated along the spectacular Zambezi River, Victoria Falls River Lodge is in the perfect location for those just wanting to escape and enjoy safaris, game drives and natural landscapes. Luxurious tented suites all overlook the river, with private decks and plunge pools, and are the ideal place to relax as you take in the views and passing wildlife. Luxury Family Tents are available for those travelling with little ones, and there are also Island Treehouse Suites, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Victoria Falls River Lodge is the perfect base from which to enjoy the many activities in the surrounding area. Take a tour of Victoria Falls, which is thought to be the largest waterfall in the world, take a river cruise or enjoy a safari and get close to the wildlife. Fishing, walking and canoe safaris allow you to get up close to the animals, while there are plenty of high adrenaline activities available as well.

Children aged 0-3 years stay for free, while child prices apply to ages 4-11 and 12-17 years. Victoria Falls River Lodge has 13 Luxury Tented Suites and 5 Island Treehouse Suites for guests aged over 16 years.

Rates are all inclusive and include transfers to and from Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone International Airport, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and local beverages. Meals are served in the Lodge’s dining areas or on your private deck. Snacks are available on game drives and river cruises.
Also included is a daily transfer to and from Victoria Falls town, a tour of Victoria Falls, transfers to and from the National Park Gate or the Jetty where you can enjoy third party activities.
Bird watching and two game activities are included per person per day. This includes morning and afternoon game drives in Zambezi National Park and sunrise and sunset river cruises.
All Inclusive rates for Island Treehouse Suites includes all of the above, as well a personal butler service, superior drinks and laundry.




Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea are served in the Lodge’s dining area or on your private deck. Snacks are available on game drives and river cruises.

All meals, snacks and local beverages are included in your stay, while guests staying in the Island Treehouse Suites can also enjoy superior beverages.

Activities and Entertainment


Victoria Falls Safari Lodge is located in the beautiful Zambezi National Park which is teeming with wonderful wildlife and flora. Take an open top 4x4 drive through the park in the early morning and late afternoon, when animals are at their most active. Catch a glimpse of elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras and more.

Zambezi River Cruise

Set off for sunrise or sunset and allow expert local guides to take you through the fascinating stories of the animals and their habitats. The animals are most active at this time, giving you the chance to see hundreds of birds, crocodiles and hippos as well as land animals who come to the river to drink.

Walking Safaris

Explore the minute details and smaller flora and fauna of Zambezi National Park with walking safaris included in your stay. Experienced guides will help you get to know the many animals which reside here, as well as teaching you about their habitat.

Tour of Victoria Falls

Thought to be the largest waterfall in the world, it’s often said that the spray and thunder of Victoria Falls can be seen and heard from miles away. Guides will take you to the best viewing spots and talk you through the native flora and fauna surrounding the Falls.

Upper Zambezi Canoe Safaris

Get up close to elephants, giraffes and more who come to the Zambezi River to drink, play and wash. You may also be able to see hippos, crocodiles and some wonderful species of birds.

Fishing Safaris

Set up on the jetty or allow experienced guides to take you to the best fishing spots as you catch exotic varieties before releasing them back into the Zambezi River.

Fishing Safaris are available at a cost of $24 per hour per person.

Junior Discoverers Drive

Aimed at younger children, the Junior Discoverers Game Drives offer a chance to see the magnificent wildlife in the bush. Snacks and soft drinks are included, while expert guides will teach you all about the animals and their habitat.

About the location
Located in the west of Zimbabwe, close to the country’s border with Namibia, Zambia and Botswana, Zambezi National Park is full of spectacular wildlife and stunning scenery. Home to the Zambezi River, the park offers wonderful opportunities to explore by boat or open top 4x4 vehicles. Game lovers can see elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebra and lots more, while bird lovers will find dozens of fascinating species along the river and across the plains. If you prefer to fish there are plenty of opportunities to catch some rare varieties, before releasing them back into the river.

Close to Victoria Falls, guests of the Victoria Falls River Lodge can enjoy fantastic tours of what is thought to be the largest waterfall in the world. Admire the waters which thunder down from 100 metres, take in the fascinating flora and fauna in the surrounding area or try some adrenaline packed activities such as white water rafting and bungee jumping.

Luxurious thatched tents offer views of the Zambezi River through large windows and from your private viewing deck and plunge pool. Each is air conditioned and decorated in a mixture of African and European styles. Relax in your seating area or on your large king size bed. Twin beds are also available. An open plan bathroom offers a free standing bath, and indoor and outdoor showers.

Luxury Family Tents

Max 2 adults & 3 children

Large thatched tents give you spectacular views over the Zambezi River through canvas windows and from your private plunge pool which is situated on your viewing deck. All tents are air conditioned and decorated with a combination of luxurious African and European style. There is a large sitting area, bedroom area with king size bed and an adjoining room with a bunk bed and ¾ size bed. An en suite bathroom contains a freestanding bath and shower.

Island Treehouse Suites

Max 2 adults

Located on a private island, the Treehouse Suites are made of timber and reached via a walkway between the trees. Enjoy views of the Zambezi River from your full sized windows, private deck and plunge pool. A relaxed seating area and open plan bedroom have comfortable furniture with a modern African finish. There is a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath and rain showers.
