Q & A

1. What was your most memorable holiday meal?

Sushi at Nobu in Atlantis, The Palm. The whole experience was totally unreal. The flavours of the food, the service, the setting, it was all sensational. For us, they had a tapas selection, so we got to try a whole bunch of different things, everything was delicious. They also brought a magician in, which really elevated the whole night. Setting-wise, it doesn’t get much better. Nobu is at the top of The Palm, so it feels like you’re on top of the world, the views are absolutely breathtaking. Mixed with the wonderful cocktails, the whole night was just incredible, The Palm pulled out all the stops.

2. What is the best thing about being abroad?

To travel is to live. Exploring different cultures and experiences. Also, learning new languages and making friends along the way.

3. Where would you go next and why?

Spain, particularly the Balearic and the Canary Islands. These are two of our best sellers and I feel like it would be a great learning opportunity to experience these first-hand. Also, the Caribbean is more of a winter sun destination, I would love to experience it and gain more knowledge on the hidden gems and things to do.

Luxury Greece Holidays
Greece, for me personally, it has to do with the culture. The people are really nice and laid back, and the way of life just fits with my holiday mood. They tend to go out a bit later in the day, so late dinners and then one can have a proper lie-in in the morning. The food is also spectacular wherever you go. Plus, the beaches are amazing, clear, blue waters that you can see through, I really want to go back to Greece!

Amirandes, Grecotel Boutique Resort, Crete
Grecotel Amarindes in Crete. It’s the only hotel on the island that gets the sunrise and the sunset on either side, which is just magical. The hotel is on a stunning stretch of beach and is very central. The service is amazing, and again the food!  I think what caught my attention the most was just those little moments where everything came together. People today are looking for experiences and Grecotel Amarindes offers the best of both worlds. Everything is simply fantastic!
