Located in the southwest of Tenerife, Costa Adeje is one of our favourite beach resorts on the island. It caters for everyone - not only are there miles of sandy beach (don't be surprised to find some beaches with black sands, Tenerife is volcanic), but there are plenty of restaurants, boutiques and sophisticated entertainment options. Costa Adeje not only promises sunshine 300-plus days a year but it is the ideal luxury resort if you want relaxation, fun and a chance to discover the island.
The seaside resort is linked by a long promenade which is lined with cafes and shops. The beaches along the promenade range from the sophisticated white sands of Bahia del Duque to the family friendly Playa Fañabe. Take a stroll along the walkway to the little marina and soak up the holiday atmosphere - find a bar, order a local beer and simply sit and enjoy the Canarian sun as the world goes by.
For the young, the waterparks Siam Park and Aqualand are just a 10-minute drive from the hotel. If you want your water activities to be a little less man-made can we recommend a day of whale and dolphin spotting? You might even get a chance to swim with turtles too!
