The Chobe Bush Lodge has large, modern rooms with a balcony overlooking the pool area. The open-air dining room is on the first floor. The sister facility, across the highway, is similar but with a larger dining buffet and is a gateway to the pontoon boats used to navigate the Chobe River on game drives. Overland game drives in Safari vehicles were also experienced. Definitely, can be recommended.

I stayed at the Chobe Bush Lodge for one night at the end of my 10-day camping safari in Botswana. The safari ended in Kasane late in the afternoon. Since I was not able to fly out that day, I chose to spend the night at Chobe Bush Lodge. This was also an opportunity to clean up and enjoy modern amenities after so many days in the bush.
I found the lodge to be a welcome rest!
The location is in a quiet area of Kasane, a raucous, crowded outpost filled to the brim with tourists from all over the world. The town is also a hub for game drives and boat trips in the Chobe River.
There are many lodges at every price point in Kasane, and the Chobe Bush Lodge is at the higher end. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the lobby, public areas, restaurant and swimming pool are all well appointed and quite elegant.
The staff is pleasant and helpful.
My room had a balcony overlooking the pool. It was very large, extremely comfortable, had everything I needed including WiFi.
For dinner, I walked across the street to their sister property (Chobe Safari Lodge) which is similar. They offer a very impressive buffet but I would not recommend it unless you are extremely hungry. Too much food, too many people!
Overall, I had a good stay and would recommend the lodge for anyone who wants to stay in a conventional hotel setting. It is ideal for families traveling with small children, for seniors who need extra comfort and for anyone who wants to spend an evening of pampering after safari.
