If 60 acres of gardens, striking infinity pools, a 420m sandy beach and delicious dining are not enough to convince you that Ikos Odisia is just perfect, then perhaps spectacular views over the Ionian Sea are. We simply can’t stress how lovely this hotel is - no hyperbole is necessary.

The hotel is set in magical Dassia Bay, about 30-minutes from Corfu Town. However, that doesn’t mean there are any mega-metropolises here. The sleepy fishing village is exactly what you would expect it to be: golden beaches lapped by sparkling seas, lively seafront tavernas and quaint local bars and boutiques. But, it would be a crying shame to limit yourself to only the beach during your stay here. Head into the pine-scented backcountry and explore a region that ripples with vineyards, groans with ancient history and has superb terrain ripe for hiking and cycling. Water lovers will find their nirvana in Dassia Bay too, with world-class diving, kayaking and water sports on offer.

The luxury resort and spa opened in June 2023 so guests are sure to enjoy exceptional conditions and brand-new facilities. The 5-star hotel will offer seven first-class dining options, lively bars, 390 beautifully appointed rooms and suites in harmonious accommodation, a long ribbon of private sandy beach, a spa, kids’ clubs for all ages and plenty of pools for everyone. There are also three tennis courts, aerobics, pedaloes, canoeing, plus a great variety of evening activities and entertainment. All that is topped off by sweeping panoramic views of turquoise across Corfu’s dazzling Dassia Bay, adding an extra wow factor to everything you do.

Foodies are well served at Ikos Odisia. Six a la carte restaurants designed by Michelin-starred chefs offer a range of Greek, Italian, Asian, Spanish and Peruvian gastronomy. The resort’s main restaurant promises a legendary Mediterranean buffet for guests, served in a casual atmosphere. The resort also features Ikos’ renowned Dine Out experience where you’ll explore the temptations of Corfiot cuisine in a local restaurant at no extra charge.

Oliva

If you think Spanish cuisine is just about tapas then think again! Yes, there are the famous sharing plates on the menu, but dining at Oliva also means taking a gastronomic tour of Spain in spacious, relaxed surroundings complemented by fabulous views over the Ionian Sea. The a la carte menu has been created by acclaimed Chef David Ibarboure, so get ready to enjoy some real Spanish cuisine with a modern twist.

Anaya

Chow down on some of the best Asian food in Corfu. Anaya hosts delectable treats from crispy spring rolls to tasty, spicy curries and blissfully slurpy noodles. The wonderfully varied menu has been created by Thirakomen Apiradee, aka Chef Thiou, who brings an incredible wealth of experience to each of these delightful dishes.

Elia

Elia welcomes visitors of all ages in their beautiful, family friendly restaurant. Enjoy generous helpings of Hellenic food, complemented by jaw-dropping views across the Ionian sea. So I'm a long time user of trip advisor but this is the first time I've left a review. I was never a 100% convinced with all inclusive resorts but I have to say Ikos changed my mind. Completely. My partner and I visited Odisia in October last year and I've been meaning to place a review since I got back. However life kept getting in the way. Odisia is a new resort and it is in a spectacular location. Each of the a la carte restaurants makes the most of the views which certainly adds to the dinner experience. Our favourites were Elia, Oliva, Fresco right on the beach, and like-wise Ouzo, also right by the beach. Elia had wonderful views over the sea and we went there several times just for a pre-dinner drink. We weren't able to get a booking at Oliva but the staff managed to squeeze us in and again, we had a top notch dinner. Which brings me on to my next topic - the staff. We had such a wonderful holiday because of the staff at the resort. Especially Fania at Ouzo and the wonderful waiter/sommelier who recommended such delicious wine to have with our meals, also at Ouzo (Please forgive me but I can't remember his name). We had a terrific day out in the Tesla exploring the island. And the resort also had numerous daily buses from the resort to Corfu town which was so convenient. Didn't have time to visit the spa but hopefully we can visit again and I can experience that! We had a late evening flight and they gave us a suite to use until we had to get our taxi to the airport. And oh my goodness, I forgot they also upgraded our room on arrival! I'm so ashamed i can't remember the names of the staff because I wanted to specifically mention several of them who offered stand-out service. Every member of staff we interacted with were super helpful, kind, patient and also had a great sense of humour. The upshot of it all is we have rebooked to go to Ikos Aria in April (can't wait) and hoping to go back to Odisia in October. Thank you to everyone at Odisia for making our holiday such a wonderful and memorable one.
