Domes Noruz Kassandra

First of all We must say a huge thank you to all the staff at this hotel! We cannot single out any particular staff member, as they were all superb! They made our stay relaxed and we left feeling that we had made so many new friends there. 
From the moment you arrive you are greeted with a warm reception by the front of house staff who set the tone for your stay. Efficient, friendly, warm and welcoming. The service is quiet and attentive making sure your needs are met. Nothing was too much trouble. 
We stayed on a half board basis. the breakfast has a reasonable selection as does the evening meal. It is a mix of excellent Greek and Mediterranean style with some Western European dishes. Fresh baked breads and pastries. All the food is laid out beautifully and in a clean environment with some live cooking stations both at breakfast and evening meals. Again service around the dining areas is warm and friendly. 
The hotel location is stunning, overlooking a fantastic blue flag beach. There are plenty of sun beds to be had in a mixture of areas, including a quiet area if preferred. the grounds are beautifully maintained and attended to each day by a team. We ate at Topos the restaurant on the beach front near the main pool. Again the relaxed vibe here is great. The food was absolutely superb! 
The rooms are superb, clean fresh and modern with excellent local products in the bathroom made with olive oil etc. the beds and bedding are amazing and comfortable with a good pillow menu. All rooms have a sea view on all floors, we were in room 419 and the views were amazing of the grounds, sea and town. 
We stayed for a week and can absolutely recommend this hotel and small resort it sits in. we would definitely come again

I am currently staying here and would note rate this a 5* hotel in my opinion. It Has the potential to be, but there are problems here, that need to be addressed. The positives are wonderful greeting at the reception after a long day of travelling. lounge areas are lovely and welcoming. Very clean - as is our room. Lovely staff too. The negative is the dining room. There are not enough staff and the current layout of the food sections does not work. The staff cannot replenish the food quickly enough therefore guests hanging around waiting for food. The hot food is not hot enough which suggests it is cooked earlier and left to get cold. The grilling section in the outside area is to far away from the salad / vegetable section inside and just does not work. For breakfast the coffee machines cannot cope with the high volume of guests to use, the staff are also queuing to get coffees for guests usually 4 at a time!! This I find infuriating, running out of milk, no one around to ask to replenish. there is one 4 slice toaster to cope with large amount of guests in a big hotel totally inadequate. There is much work to do here to bring it upto 5* standards

What can you expect at this hotel ? Firstly we booked transfers direct with the hotel and this was smooth and we had a great young driver who on the drive told us about the area and pointed out some of the local landmarks. His passion for the local area the the area he was born was really to be commended and made for good learning for us on the drive to the hotel. Again service around the dining areas is attentive and friendly. The hotel sits on a fantastic blue flag beach with plenty of sun beds on the beach and around the pool areas.. again the grounds are beautifully maintained and attended to each day by a team. We ate at Topos the restaurant they have on the beach front near the main pool. Again the relaxed vibe here is great. The food was absolutely superb ! This was one of the best meals I have had in a fair while this includes some well known places back in the uk. This matched and beat many for the quality of the food. The rooms are excellent, clean fresh and modern with excellent local products in the bathroom made with olive oil etc. the beds and bedding are amazing and comfortable with a good pillow menu. Looking at how the hotel is oriented I would say that all rooms have a sea view on all floors we are in 512 and the views are amazing of the grounds, sea and town. You will want to gaze out from the balcony as the two tone sea here is spectacular with the foreground being a deep teal and the back ground deep blue really something to see. We have been here a week and are not going to want to leave when our ten days are up ! I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and small resort it sits in, its a lovely place to visit. If you have stayed at other Domes Nourez hotels then you will not be disappointed as the quality and standards are the same as we received at our two visits to Chania.
