Eagles Villas

Eagles Villas is absolutely incredible! It's a true 5-star resort with location, service, and rooms all first class. The Eagles Villas are both above, and part of, the larger Eagles Resort that's directly adjacent. And you want to choose the Villas for two reasons: privacy, and the view! The view out to the Aegean Sea and the islands is nothing short of perfect. We're on Day 2 right now and literally cannot stop looking at it. You get the view from all of the villas and from the modern hilltop building that is home to the Villas' reception desk/restaurant/bar & gym facility, pool, etc. The villas are well designed and laid out - each one is completely private and has the spectacular view of the sea as well as its very own plunge pool. Our villa also had an outdoor shower, beach-style lounge chairs, and a separate outdoor table/chairs for eating. We appreciated the two bathroom sinks, a separate tub overlooking the view, separate shower, a doored toilet area (with a third sink), refrigerator, and kitchen sink (yes, that makes four). I believe all the villas are similarly appointed. The entire Villas area is very quiet. The Villas breakfast is 7:30 - 11 and worth planning around - it's both a la carte and buffet, with both included in our rate. It's a mix of Greek and classic European/American with so many choices and things to try. Sit outside on the covered patio for the best view. Lots of choices for other meals, as the Villas has its own restaurant and there are three at the main resort, plus a beachside bar & restaurant. The Villas restaurant was not open for lunch during our visit, but they had some complimentary appetizers out throughout the day. We just got back from dinner at the Villas tonight and ate at the Italian restaurant at the main resort last night. Food quality and service were excellent at both, so it mostly depends on what cuisine you're in the mood for (we ate after sunset; otherwise I'd again recommend the view from the outdoor tables at the Villas restaurant, although there are also outdoor tables at the fine dining restaurant in the main resort which have an excellent view). It's easy to walk between Eagles Villas and Eagles Resort areas (and down to the beautiful beach) but the staff will also shuttle you in a golf cart whenever you like. You can charge anything from any of the restaurants/bars/gift shop anywhere in the Villas or the main resort to your Villas room. In addition to the restaurant, the Eagles Villas has both an indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, bar, fitness room, teen center, ping pong table, and kids movie/game room - everything one needs for an outstanding stay so there's little need to go to the main resort except to go to the beach or one of the restaurants. The only other times we went to the main resort were to go to the gift shop or when the upper area was windy and we wanted to sit outside and play cards at a bar. Can't say enough great things about the staff/service and the view. Truly a special place and I hope you get to enjoy it :)

The villas are amazing, very clean and good quality furnishings. The private pool is great and we stayed in room 611 which was private and not overlooked. It also had lovely views of nearby islands. We went all inclusive which is a must as the food and drinks would be expensive otherwise. The mini bar was filled on our arrival with mixers, fruit, chocolates and cake with a complimentary bottle of wine. We were told that this would restocked midway through our stay but it wasn't. The all inclusive menu is very limited! During our stay we noticed that they were closing down the restaurants as the fish restaurant was no longer open in the evening, the beach bar with the food van wasn't operational and we had to order from the bar menu which was limited. Lofos restaurant only served breakfast. The lunch buffet didn't really exist. It's 12 Euros cab ride to the nearest town. The wine tasting was good fun and the greek wine was lovely. But every restaurant does have different rules on what is all inclusive and what is not. We will return but maybe not so late in the season.

The villas are stunning and was our 4th stay but sadly didn’t think will return for a while. Last visit I raised issues but it seems not picked up on and if anything things have gotten worse. No acknowledgment or benefit for returning clients and indeed this year felt the least favourite villa allocated accept busy but it’s the small things that separate a true 5 star resort. It was only the fact that some staff remembered us from previous stays as never saw any management our entire stay. Positives the villa the view the staff the staff the staff! Special mention to villa staff, buggy drivers and beach staff who work tirelessly and always with a smile! Negatives have been mentioned by others . Last year in the evening had a choice of 6 venues for dinner this year 4 and boy does that impact on stay. Made worse by the fact the lunch menu in the fish restaurant is the same in the evening! Breakfast was favourite meal of day again made by the staff and service. Mini bar never topped up but we took mixers back from beach with us. Asked for tea bags took 24 hours to arrive. We thought Bon Vivant good for drinks and had wonderful beach cocktails and wine with meals. Venum our favourite restaurant. Main bar at night boy so different to beach bars! Rarely smiled and if not on drinks menu couldn’t have it. No entertainment and no atmosphere 😔 Liked the food truck at lunch. Overall good but some issues.
