Atrium Palace Thalasso Spa Resort and Villas

Beautiful resort close to Lindos in Rhodes. Lots of space, great food and a beautiful beach in a location far from the crowded cities but close enough to Lindos. Thanks to our host Savvas Papantoniou for a pleasant stay :) Good tip is to come after Setembet, so you are out of the crowded summer and still warm seas.

We went here on a family holiday for 10 days during the school summer holidays, there were 12 of us in total. The hotel was fantastic. I'll do a detailed review so you know what to expect. We booked directly with the hotel and it was fine. When we arrived we paid for family suites - 2/3 were fine but the 3rd didn't look like a suite and upon questioning this they did manage to move us. Not the best start but i welcomed the help of the staff. The pool and facilities were great. The pool probably had a bit too much chlorine in as it did ruin some swimwear by turning it green but it didn't dampen the holiday and wouldn't stop me going back. The gym definitely needs an update - it's dated and a lot of the equipment wasn't working - but it was also busy in the gym while we were there so i think it would be worth the investment. We had massages - again really lovely. My dad used the indoor pool to do lengths away from children in the main pool - he really liked this. We mainly stayed by the pool - the beach was too hot for us, but we did go on jet skis and a private boat hire down by the beach via the hotel - both were really, really good. Lots of fun had by all and we would do it again as there were a few options - go down on your first day and find out whats on offer as it books up early. Ordering from your sun bed is amazing - we went all inclusive i would recommend this and being able to order food and drinks to our beds was really good - especially with 5 kids in tow. The mini bar also included in the AI - also great and welcomed at night with kids wanting a drink. We liked the entertainment, we did aqua gym and table tennis - some days water polo which was so fun. There are 3 pool tables and our kids loved playing as well as chess. The large chess game looks nice and was used often. The adult entertainment was fine also. I have read some reviews saying there wasn't much for the kids? we didn't find this at all and we had kids ranging from ages 14 - 5. They all want to go back and said it was the best holiday they have been on. Some people get up early to reserve beds - you don't have to there was always beds available it just depends on how many you want to get together and if you want a desired location. It is quite far out from the centre of Lindos - there isn't really anywhere to go for a nice walk - again a small price to pay in our opinion as everything else worked really well for us as a family. We got taxis to Lindos for the day. It was nice but very busy. The hotel got us in to every restaurant - at a struggle - and we would have liked to have eaten in them more than once but as a party of 12 we know it was hard. The best restaurants are the 2 by the beach. I also wish they would change their chips to french fries :) The main buffet restaurant was also excellent - you can even order al la carte - i found this out a few days in by a lovely waitress who served our large table outside most nights. I wish I could remember her name - she had a friend called kiki - i remembered this as it was the same middle name as my daughter. Her service was fantastic! The bar staff worked some serious hours and were always pleasant. We went to rhodes town via a taxi organised by the hotel. Would we go back? absolutely .... i hope to attend again next year. I think i've covered everything

Honestly have to give you a review of this very beautiful hotel before we leave. The Symposium buffet restaurant is excellent,a la carte available, themed every night, you will be amazed. Mesogeos restaurant 10/10 & compliments to the chefs & waiting staff absolutely superb. The Anagenessis spa is a must had Aquatic body sculpting & firming ritual was sublime. Have to mention reception staff & young men who drive buggies to all around hotel you are so welcoming thank you. And the biggest thank you to Christina who is there to greet us every day at Symposium restaurant we immediately warmed to your kindness and most welcoming genuine beautiful smile our chats are the best 😂 in greek and English thank you.
