Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

Our family's first trip to the Maldives was absolutely magical, and Vilu Reef made it perfect for everyone, from the adults to the kids. It's hard to know where to start??? The resort is stunning, set in an incredible location with the most breathtaking views of the lagoon. It was immaculately clean, spacious, and wonderfully welcoming for a family stay. Every single member of the staff deserves praise. They were universally kind, patient, and attentive to our children. The teams at Aqua Restaurant, The Spice, and the Nautilus Bar were fantastic???always professional and yet so warm, making every meal a delight. The Energy Bar was a lifesaver with our little ones! A special thank you to the brilliant teams at the Squba Dive Center and Sport Center. They were incredibly friendly and professional, organizing activities that were both safe and fun for all ages. The snorkeling excursions we did with them were true highlights we will never forget. However, we must give our biggest, most heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Island Host, SUMMER. She was simply amazing???kind, helpful, endlessly patient with our questions and schedule, and utterly professional. Summer was there for our family every step of the way, helping with everything we needed. Thank you so much, Summer! We also have to mention the incredible dining experience at the "Well Done" Restaurant. DILSHAD and DIPU were exceptional. They were always smiling, so kind to our children, and made time to chat with us even during the busiest moments. They truly went above and beyond. Our holiday at Vilu Reef was an unforgettable dream for our entire family. We created the most precious memories here and sincerely hope to return one day to see all these wonderful people again. Thank you for everything!

Had a lovely time a Velu Reef on our honeymoon. We had a water villa with its own pool and sunset views, absolutely beautiful. The food in each of the three restaurants was first class and the service from all of the staff impeccable friendly and attentive. Our honeymoon was acknowledged by was of wonderful meals on the beach and a floating breakfast on our pool. Special shout out to Fardous our villa attendant who did a great job as well as being friendly and helpful. His palm leaf art he left on the bed was both varied and amazing! My only gripe was the exorbitant cost of the excursions $500 per head (after 27%tax) for a boat trip to see the whale sharks and manta rays means $1000 for a day trip. Excessive!

I'm very happy to be here. The scenery is beautiful. Thanks to our housekeeper, summer, for changing the room with a swimming pool for us to have a better honeymoon.
