Weather in Mauritius

Luxury holidays in Mauritius invite you to enjoy an island paradise where soft white sands meet turquoise waters under swaying palm trees. There’s also plenty of opportunity for sightseeing as well as activities for the whole family.

Mauritius weather by month

Mauritius has a sub-tropical climate which means the country is warm and sunny throughout the year. The island experiences two seasons. Weather in the summer (November to April) is hot and tends to be a bit wetter than the winter (June to September), which is dry and a little cooler, though temperatures stay in the high 20s. May and October meanwhile are ‘transition’ months between the two seasons. Here’s our month-by-month guide to the average weather and climate in Mauritius.
