We stayed at Dreams Sapphire for a short visit and had a great mix of relaxation, fun, and wedding planning. Day 1: We had dinner at Portofino (good food, no wait) and hung out at the bar afterward. Bars close at midnight, which was a bit of a downer since we like a later nightlife. Day 2: We had a site visit to another resort, which turned out to be a Hyatt timeshare pitch. If you???re not interested, say NO???you???ll still get $200 ???resort credit??? (feels like Monopoly money). We planned to use it for a Preferred Club Indigo upgrade but instead spent it on the spa. Afterward, we relaxed at the pool (closes at 5 PM???wish it stayed open later) but loved having our swim-up room as an alternative. Preferred Club: Highly recommend. The air-conditioned lounge with snacks/drinks was perfect for cooling off. You get a bottle of your choice (we chose tequila), access to premium alcohol, and extra dining perks. Dining: - Day 1: Portofino ??? Italian, good quality, no wait. - Day 2: Hibachi ??? tasty, but the only show seating was 10 PM, which was too late for us, so we skipped the show. - Day 3: Relaxed by the pool, enjoyed the slides (SO fun, and adults can use them!), then went to the spa. Dinner at the French restaurant was the BEST meal of the trip. Nice bonus: buffet options for families who don???t want to wait for a table. The only restaurant that takes reservations is the Japanese/Hibachi spot. Beach Conditions: There was a smell that came and went during our visit. Just something to be aware of if you???re booking in the summer months, as it may be stronger then. Other Notes: Fridges are warm, so get an ice bucket if you like cold drinks. The Sky Bar is stunning and perfect for events. Tips for Travelers: - Book Preferred Club for perks, lounge, and premium alcohol. - Say no to the timeshare pitch unless you want it???still get the $200 credit. - Bring an ice bucket for cold drinks (fridges aren???t cold). - Make Japanese/Hibachi reservations early if you want the show. - Try the slides???they???re fun for adults too! - Pool closes at 5 PM, so plan swim time earlier in the day. Overall, we loved the vibe, service, and variety of experiences. With a February booking, this would be a fantastic wedding or vacation spot.

Firstly, staff are amazing. Not right to call out individuals but I will. Antonio, Hugo and Jesus at bars. Sergio and Alberto in Buffet. Ruth at reception that was so helpful. A couple of things that were disappointing; 1. the hotel isn't at the standard of a Dreams/Hyatt residence. Needs modernisation. They do make up on customer service and entertainment. 2. The beach - whilst seaweed is natural more could have been done. Clean more regularly and have some barrier in the water.
