Tivoli Alvor Algarve Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Tivoli Resort! The food was great, and the staff were fast, friendly, and extremely polite. The whole team is amazing ??? always smiling and ready to help.The resort itself is beautiful, with great pools and plenty of space, especially perfect for big families. The bar staff were fantastic too, and every night there were different activities ??? DJs, live music, and dancers ??? keeping the atmosphere lively and fun.Housekeeping was professional and efficient, keeping everything spotless during our stay. A special mention goes to Fabio from Mad Med Restaurant for his excellent service and thoughtful recommendations ??? he really made our dining experience special.Overall, we???d highly recommend Tivoli Resort for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Our first time staying at Tivoli Resort and we absolutely loved it! I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. All of the staff were amazing???so polite, fast, and helpful! A special mention to Fabio from Restaurant Mad Med, who made our dining experience extra special.The resort is extremely clean considering how many guests stay there, and the housekeeping team was great and always ready to help. The beach being so close is another big plus.Overall, a wonderful stay???thank you, Tivoli team!

I don't normally write many reviews but felt that this fantastic hotel and the staff deserved it. 1. The staff are honestly amazing. Right from checking in, the girls were lovely. We arrived early morning however as soon as the room was ready they got in touch and made sure everything was perfect. The bar and restaurant staff were equally as great and nothing was too much trouble for them. 2. Although breakfast was pretty much the same as you would expect, the lunch and dinner buffets varied each day in the Essence restaurant. We always found something different to eat. The fish and steak options that are freshly cooked were really tasty. The Salty bar is the snack bar which my son used daily too, eagerly waiting for the baguettes later on in the day as a wee top up before dinner. As a mother of a teenage boy who is never full this was a godsend. 3. The 3 restaurants that are included in the all inclusive deal were brilliant too. We were lucky enough to book all 3. Mad Med - you will probably be full after the starters because they were so good we had to eat them all. We managed room for the main course though. Costello - you get your own starters here as a buffet option. We decided to keep ourselves for the mains. Two had pizza and I had the sea bass. OMG both were delicious and a nice offer of baileys after dinner was lovely Roastic - again you get your own starters and order your mains. My friend had John Dory fish and myself and my son had the Portuguese steak (apparently sirloin with sauces). The steaks were cooked to perfection with fritters instead of chips. I got to try the fish and it was melt in your mouth stuff. 4. The hotel is spotless. There is constant cleaning throughout the restaurants and bars. Our room had the beds made daily with fresh towels and the floors and bathroom cleaned to a high standard. 5. The train to town. What a fabulous idea and it was widely used. About a 7 minute trip in to town which has shops and cafes etc. There is a shop on the right hand side which is fairly new, they moved last year to make more space. Again lovely staff and lots of wonderful soveniers for every age. 6. The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel over the bridge. There is a gate at the end of the bridge however your room card will get you back in. Beautiful beach with lovely sand and a walk through the caves. As we walked to the left through the caves we came to a lovely secluded part with a small restaurant so we stopped for an aperol spritz as you do. Lovely to sit there and take in the view. I could go on and on about this fabulous hotel. I would definitely recommend it. This was our first time in Portugal and Hotel Tivoli made it very special. Thank you guys and see you soon.
