Barcelo Fuerteventura Royal Level – Family Club

The main reason we chose to stay here was the sea view, small size of the hotel and the heated pool, plus proximity to the resort centre. It didn't disappoint on any of those things. The pool, whilst small, was quiet and relaxed, no problem getting sunbeds, which were comfortable with towels provided. Even though we were not staying all inclusive there were free snacks. On arrival we were given free snacks and drinks and portered to our room, and introduced to everything we could access at the resort, a lovely welcome after a long trip. Our room was lovely. Immaculate with slippers and dressing gown provided, the first mini bar stocked up for free, free bottled water provided daily, and housekeeping exceptional. It had usb ports for charging too. The view from our room was amazing. The El Ancla buffet had a lovely small restaurant vibe with lovely views over the harbour. We stayed bed and breakfast so ate here every morning. The breakfast options were good, but absalutely everything was cold, even the full English, which was disappointing. We paid a very expensive 87 euros to eat at El Ancla on one evening just to try it and it was the most awful meal we had all week. Limited options and everything cold again. Fish and chicken were cold, chewy and bland, no vegetables, potatoes far too salty. We were really glad we didn't go all inclusive here, and there's no need to. There are plenty of fantastic restaurants for all tastes in the resort centre that are much cheaper. The hotel's app is really good and made it easy find our way around, book restaurants at the hotel and had instant messaging to the Concierge too. We had access to the whole hotel which gives you more options for pools and bars. We went to the Green Bar which was nice but drinks served were far too strong for us! We loved the unlimited free access to the great quality mini golf courses, which were great entertainment for our family. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the adults only area or adults only spa due to having our child with us but they look great. We only managed to catch one bit of entertainment as having a child still makes staying out late a challenge. Tbh it was difficult to get a seat in the sports bar and the entertainment was as naff as you'd get at any resort. Luckily not something that important to us anyway. Overall it was a good holiday and while we would definitely stay at the hotel again, the high price and the food quality will make us think twice, which is a shame, because otherwise we absalutely loved it.

Love this hotel 2nd time here can not fault it , I go with no children so spend my evenings in adult only area ware the cocktails are the best ever food great and very high quality, pool heated , although would rather it was a couple of degrees warmer !
