Exceptional a la carte and buffet dining, with a range of breakfast, lunch and dinner options in beautiful venues. Guests can enjoy dining at Flavors, a Mediterranean buffet, or at one of the a la carte restaurants; Ouzo (Modern Greek), Fresco (Italian), Anaya (Asian), Provence (French), Oliva (Spanish), Beach Club (Mediterranean), Chiringuito (Spanish Beach) and Seasons (Mediterranean-Asian). Outside of the resort, guests can take advantage of the Dine Out experience to enjoy select local restaurants. Reservations are required for dinner across all venues. Waterside service is available with refreshments, snacks, drinks, and cocktails served directly to sunbeds at the beach or pool. Room service is available 24/7 with the fully-stocked mini bar replenished daily with branded spirits. An extensive selection of wine is available in the Ikos Cava, as well as local and international branded drinks, beverages, sweets and ice cream served across the resort bars. A wealth of sports and activities are available (some restricted to guests 16 plus), including table tennis, aqua aerobics, beach volleyball, basketball, football, tennis (reservation required), mountain biking, and non-motorised watersports such as canoes, pedalos and SUPs (once per day for 20 min). Ikos Porto Petro has both an indoor and outdoor gym, as well as a dedicated outdoor yoga deck, each hosting a variety of fitness programmes. Our eighth IKOS holiday and first to Porto Petro. It is a truly stunning resort, no doubt. Arrival was perfect and our room, deluxe partial sea view was beautiful. Modern, clean, quiet and sitting on the balcony listening to the waves lap on the shore was heaven. The hotel is huge but the buggy service was wonderful. Love the little shuttle stops and you never had to wait long until a cheerful buggy driver would pick you up. Mohammed especially needs a mention. So friendly. Was great to run into Skerdi again who we knew from previous hotels. Sadly our dinner on the beach was grim. Probably due to a large table eating at the same time. Food and service very disappointing. Unfortunately, our dedicated concierge was away on leave for most of our stay and we weren’t allocated another so we missed the deluxe concierge service which is normally so good. Food generally great but does tend to seem the same in some restaurants. Seasons our favourite and service from Stefanie (I think that was her name) was the best of the holiday. Fabulous pianist and singer during our meal too. Loved the music at Fresco on some evenings. We normally had breakfast at Seasons or the buffet. Buffet was excellent, great service and never seemed overly crowded. Our favourite pool was the adult only deluxe pool. The service here was exceptional, the pool a fabulous temperature and just a generally lovely place to relax. Deluxe bartender one evening was also very good. As my husband is over the Tesla driving age limit, the wonderful young man on the car hire desk organised a great BMW so we could enjoy a day trip out. He was extremely pleasant and helpful. Cocktails are normally a bit of a let down. Just wish they’d learn the classic basics and do them well. It’s all a bit hit and miss in different bars. Shuttle services excellent as usual. Es Bergrant dine out was nice, just a shame we had a table by the road. Overall a wonderful 10 days just disappointing in a couple of areas. Definitely a 4.5.

Ikos review Arrival and check-in was relaxed, friendly and very professional. You cannot be anything but impressed with the ambience and entire experience. A buggy escorted us to our room, a standard superior room on the 1st level, which to our surprise overlooked the bay and beach club. As for our dining experiences; I’ll start with ‘Oliva' Restaurant which is a la carte and a super experience. It’s in an elevated position overlooking the marina with wonderful service & food. 'Anya' Thai restaurant is exceptional and a pure delight on an evening. 'The Market' Restaurant was buffet choice, nice for breakfast or lunch but we preferred the table service of the other restaurants on an evening. 'Fresco' Restaurant was another delight with the most amazing staff and beach location. The live music, made for a magical night. 'Seasons' Restaurant is located in the deluxe area, was another enjoyable experience. 'The Beach club' Restaurant was perhaps our least favourite, not quite matching the ambience of the others, perhaps due it feeling a little like a kindergarten on our visit. We never found a need to book buggy transport as the buggies were passing us frequently, offering transport throughout the resort, although we also found walking a pleasure. The resort is beautifully landscaped and there is a delight arround every corner. Whilst sunbathing by the ‘adult only’ pool, the drinks service was very attentive, with doughnuts, ice lollies and Sangria on offer and an amazing bar service - the pool was so refreshing and the ambience was amazing. We took advantage of enjoying a spot of lunch poolside on a couple of occasions. I couldn’t rate the staff higher. Special mention for Lidia, kristina & Carlos who were amazing. Bearing in mind we visited in October, we still encountered a significant number of families with young children, something we are not accustomed to, when normally choosing ‘adult only’ vacations. This wasn’t a problem, but I could envisage it being too overrun with children for our liking during school holidays. The Tesla car hire was so enjoyable. We visited the dedicated desk in reception 24 hours prior to the hire to provide passport & driving licence details & the collection of the car the following day was seamless. There are a huge number of e-bikes available to guests and we took them out one morning and cycled to Santanyi, a stunning old town, where we enjoyed some shopping and a coffee before returning. This was a safe easy 14 miles round trip. These Orbea hard tail e-bikes were however in need of a little maintenance. (Mine had two buckled wheels) This didn’t spoil the enjoyment. ‘White night’ was well subscribed and an enjoyable evening but could be so much better. Nothing is too much trouble for staff at this resort and their attention to detail does not go unnoticed. As so many other guests have said, this is a stunning resort with the most amazing team, all there to ensure you have a fabulous time. What could be improved? Not a lot, this was almost perfection, however the evening entertainment wasn’t the best, despite the effort. This was a wonderful holiday - thanks to the highest possible levels of service.
