Transfer time from Dalaman Airport to Fethiye is approximately 45 minutes.
Fethiye enjoys a Mediterranean climate with long, hot summers and mild winters. From April to October, temperatures range from the mid-20s to mid-30s°C, with minimal rainfall and plenty of sunshine. Spring and autumn are ideal for sightseeing, while summer is perfect for beach days and water sports. Even in winter, temperatures remain pleasant, averaging between 10°C and 18°C.
British citizens do not currently require a visa for tourist visits to Turkey of up to 90 days in any 180-day period. Your passport must be valid for at least 150 days from your arrival date and have a full blank page for entry and exit stamps. In restaurants, it’s customary to leave a 10–15% tip, unless a service charge is already included. For taxis, rounding up the fare is appreciated. Tipping is not expected for dolmus (shared minibus) drivers. In Turkish baths, a 10–20% tip for your masseuse is considered polite.
The official language is Turkish, but English is widely spoken in Fethiye’s hotels, restaurants, and tourist areas, making it easy for visitors to navigate and enjoy their stay.
