This 14-day cruise and stay holiday covers off ancient ruins, buzzing cities and sun-soaked islands. Start off with a few days in historic Rome, before settling into your balcony cabin on board Celebrity Reflection for a cruise around the islands of Italy, Malta and Greece.
2018 departure dates:
5 & 26 June
Once you arrive in Rome, a private transfer will take you directly to your chosen hotel.
With three nights, there’s plenty of time to experience the best of the Eternal City. Highlights include the mighty Colosseum, the beautifully carved Trevi Fountain and the art-filled halls of the Vatican Museums.
On one of your days here, we’ll organise a complimentary Sovereign tour to help you make the most of your time in the city.
After a leisurely morning on day four, a private transfer will take you to the port around lunchtime, where you’ll board Celebrity Reflection and begin your cruise.
You’ll be in a balcony cabin, so you’ll have fantastic views of the Italian coast as you begin to sail south towards Sicily.
Day five will be spent exploring Sicily, before you sail further south to the island of Malta, where you’ll spend another day.
After that, you’ve got a day at sea to relax and enjoy everything the ship has to offer.
You’ll arrive in Mykonos on day eight, where we’ll arrange a complimentary cruise over to the island of Delos, with a private guide to take you around the ancient ruins there.
Next up is Rhodes, where you’ll arrive nice and early to start exploring, before you sail across to Santorini. Here, we’ll organise a complimentary catamaran experience for you.
Your final Greek port of call will be Athens, where you’ll have time to discover the city’s ancient acropolis, including the iconic hilltop Parthenon.
After another full day at sea, you’ll arrive back on the shores of Italy. Naples is the perfect starting point for trips to mighty Mount Vesuvius (and the towns it buried, Pompeii and Herculaneum).
Alternatively, you could explore the city’s old town or underground Roman streets, or take the ferry across to the islands of Ischia or Capri.
Overnight, you’ll sail back to Rome, where you’ll disembark in the morning. If you’re returning to the UK, a private transfer will take you to the airport.
Can’t bear to leave Italy? We can arrange for you to continue your holiday – perhaps a few days in Florence or a stay on the Amalfi Coast.
