About the location
Set on Barbados' south coast, St Lawrence Gap probably ticks off every box on your Caribbean retreat wishlist. By day, relax on white-sand beaches and cool off with a spot of snorkelling (this area is packed with tropical fish), and when the sun goes down, embrace your inner Bajan with a night on the town. Make a beeline for The Gap (as hip as its nickname), a road lined with restaurants, rum shacks and clubs. Tuck into a fresh fish supper, before ordering a rum punch or two and soaking up the atmosphere. For those who like to show off their moves, the nightclubs in the area play a variety of music genres, from reggae to dance. You’re only 10 minutes’ drive from Bridgetown, too, so exploring the island’s historic capital is nice and easy.

We spent a week at Ocean Two in January and had a fantastic stay in an ocean view, one bedroom suite that was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was large with a huge walk in shower. We traveled with our seven year old daughter and found the resort to be family friendly. We rented a car and drove all over the island which I would highly recommend. The island was beautiful to explore and we always felt safe. The resort has a beautiful pool and beach area with the most comfortable and luxurious sun loungers. Ocean Two is in a great location with close proximity to many restaurants. I would highly recommend this resort and would love to return.

We booked the restaurant on the beach for Valentines. The food was good. It took over half an hour to get a drink at the bar and we overheard 2 different couples complain about that and service in general.
When our meal arrived it was lovely, unfortunately a couple at the side of us were not having such a good experience and as the tables were quite close it spoiled the experience.
We were told that dinners were required to wear trousers and NOT shorts, but when we arrived most of the customers had come off the beach and were wearing shorts.
Not sure we would go again.
