Sea Breeze Beach House - Luxury Collection

There are some negative reviews about the hotel on here which I feel are really unfair. Throughout the world, different countries have different ways of marking their hotels five star and it is no different in Barbados. We have stayed at various locations worldwide all claiming to be five star and all very different from each other. The hotel is quite a small hotel in a beautiful location on the sea front close to Oistins. The sea is quite choppy some days due to its location and there was a small quantity of seaweed whilst we were there. We stayed in the Mahogany building in a luxury oceanfront suite. These rooms have minibars which are restocked daily, robes, coffee machines, iron and ironing board. Huge showers with White Company products and quite a powerful hairdryer. My own hairdryer was not as powerful here so I stuck to using the one in the hotel. Buffett breakfast with cereals, fruit, bagels, croissants, fresh juice, an omelette station (cooked to order by Marcia who also can do poached eggs if preferred), pancakes, as well as the usual sausage, bacon, baked beans etc. Lunch we usually had a chicken kebab from the Tipsy Bar on the beach which were cooked to order and delicious. Other options are burgers, pizza and fries from the Flying Fish or Buffett from Mahogany. Evening meals - must be pre booked in advance. The Aqua Terra and Cerrulean restaurant were not open every night whilst we were there but this was not an issue. We visited all of the restaurants, never had a problem with a reservation and never ate the same thing twice due to the variety of menu choices available. We did have room service once whilst there for which there is a 10 Barbadian dollar charge for. The pizza was delicious. Don’t be afraid to get on the reggae bus and explore the island. The bus is a great way to get around, is really inexpensive and anyone on the bus will tell you where to get off if you are unsure. We took it down to Pebble Beach to see the racehorses swimming in the sea which is a fantastic experience and well worth getting up early to witness. The staff were amazing. Very friendly, welcoming and really made our stay memorable. There are so many wonderful people at the hotel that go out out of their way to ensure you are having a great time. Marcie makes amazing cocktails and Chesterfield goes above and beyond to tell you about the island and is a credit to the hotel. We will definitely be back.

Yet another fantastic stay at Sea Breeze. Food fantastic, with a wide choice in the four restaurants. Staff as always amazing, with special thank-yous to Karen, Chesterfield, Ron, Jeanna and Laura. It was a holiday we really needed and Sea Breeze delivered with top marks. Didn't want to leave, and can't wait to return. Thank you all.

The resort location is wonderful, peaceful and beautiful. We were surprised there was a charge for room service at an all-inclusive resort. Staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs of service. Rarely did a server come to our pool to offer beverages. We had to call twice in 1 week for towels and soap. Barking dogs seemed like they were right outside our door (several nights).
