Amazing location with solid facilities and family friendly. The pools are lovely although there is no shallow pools for kids. The kids club makes up for this and is really well organized and with a lovely team. The beach is increadible and the sea so inviting but we hit a busy time and getting sun beds was problematic at times although the towel boys did try their best to help. This coastline is a beauty and visiting the park and lagoons we will remember forever. Spa is an adult oasis and treatments are divine. The rooms are very light and airy and really clean and our room attendant could not have done enough to keep us ship-shape and tidy. The furnishings are a little dated, as are the bathrooms, whilst functional, lack twin wash basins and faucets are old. The quality soaps and shampoos are lovely. The rooms do need treatment but then we spend most of our time outside. Food is generally incredible here - breakfast is very impressive and the special event village night was wonderful. Pelago was our lunch favorite with fresh salads and we could eat healthily there. The terrace has stunning views and the sushi is really creative and we couldn't get enough of it. The french restaurant whilst pricey was worth it, the chefs here know how to take your taste senses on a great journey! Our one experience of room dining was spoiled by the long delay and the lady taking the order clearly pressurized and wrong order sent, so we did not repeat it. The hotel was quite busy with an event as well but became quiet as we guessed holidays were over but there was a noticeable lack of staff - this is our biggest issue I guess. we could not work it out if it was a lack of staff or lack of intiative as trying to get service at the pools was tedious - we did ask a pool girl and one of the restaurant supervisors who both led us to believe they were short of people in general. Wait times for service in the terrace and french venue was a little slow, defo a lack of staff and manager just walking around rather than doing anything - witnessed a few times! Each time we passed the front desk for something (we had issues with our keys and wanted to book many things and activties / taxis etc) they seemed a bit stressed and struggling to manage, again so few staff there. Having said that I would say when we did mange to interact with the staff they were almost without exception all so genuine and kind - special mention to Dora and Mina who looked after our dinner bookings so well and for just being so lovely. Michael receptionist and Mike the porter were super freindly and helpful. John the manager at reception who saved our vacation - we first approached the concierge lady to arrange a yacht, tour of the classics sites and a park hike and sadly she was a little brusque did not know where to start shrugging shoulders was not going to get us on tour - John saw this and stepped in and took over - and he knows his stuff, the guide he chose was just right for us, he convinced us to get a bigger yacht with a cptain which was what we needed, so much personal attention to detail and care and warmth, and a great salesman! His professionalism and experience is obvious - the other minor problems we had ( not worth mentioning) we simply went to John and they blisfully were corrected. By the end of our stay we had several interesting conversations with him about so many topics and his experiences from his lifetime of travel and service. He has a passion for his guests and I could see how much it means - we came friendly with another family who we recommended to see John - they had the same 5 star treatment. And if it wasn't for this our review would have been 3.5 or 4 - but it has to be 5 as it made all the difference and we will be back for more. Thank you to some other staff too - one at the terrace and one on the beach for sure, but we didnt make note of, sorry.

The Anassa experience is second to none!!! Both the facilities and staff make you feel so special!!! It is a place to go back to when you need to absolutely spoil yourself with amazing gourmet food, the best room service, beach, pool and spa facilities on the island!!! Thank you Anassa!!!

A very enjoyable stay with the family. Service is excellent and so is the quality of food. We felt welcomed from the minute we arrived and staff at the hotel were always helpful and there when needed. It is a great place for a family holiday or even for couples.
