Regent Porto Montenegro

Excellent place to stay for solo travelers, couples or families with kids. We were there with our son and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room: we were staying at a spacious room which was stunningly decorated as a yacht interior or captain cabin. I found it fascinating, and seemingly it is a subtle node to the fact that Tivat is a port city (hence Porto Montenegro). Room featured wooden floors, wide balcony (wide enough for my son to nap there in his stroller) and king-size bed. Every little detail was standing out and contributing to overall quality of interior. Bathroom was spacious and equipped with all necessary amenities. Breakfast: breakfast was provided in hotel’s Moreno restaurant. It featured both a la carte menu (included in breakfast) and open buffet. A la carte menu included porridge (my son loved it) with either cow milk or any other milk (eg almond, soy for vegans/vegetarians), egg benedict, truffle eggs, and omelette types. We tried truffle eggs, egg benedict and omelette with dried tomatoes and mozarella - everything was yummy. Open buffet included wide selection of citrus fruits, kiwis, mango and pineapple. Their pancakes were amazing along with everything else in open buffet. Don’t forget to try kaymak (similar to creme fraiche) which is a must-try dairy product in Montenegro. Since Montenegro has a lot of tasty ingredients (veggies, fruits), food there tastes natural (compared to other parts of Europe). Special thanks to Jelena and other breakfast team staff members for their kind service and nice smiles. Breakfast place had plenty of highchairs for babies. Loo on the lobby floor has a baby changing station. Location: needless to stay, hotel is located in the heart of Porto Montenegro. It’s close to seaside restaurants, designed shops and Tivat boulevard. We had the pleasure of having daily long walks. Also, you can find a nice forest-like park 5 mins walk away from the hotel (next to Knightbridge school). There two markets on the same street - Voli (chain supermarket, 3-5 mins walk away) and Portakali (less variety than in Voli but has nice bakery). Spa: their spa features an indoor pool (1.2m), indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and hamam. You can find orange&ginger water as refreshment next to sauna and hamam doors. Spa gives a home-like feel with nice atmosphere. Staff: staff is very very friendly, all of them speak english. Special thanks to Marius and Kristina. In-room service: hotel has a restaurant called Gourmet. Although we didn’t go to the restaurant itself, we ordered from there to our room. It took them up to 15 mins to bring food to our room and it was delicious. Maybe in the future, they could add fish soup to their in-room menu. In summary, enjoyable stay, wonderful welcome and relaxing vacation. Recommended!

Impeccable service, food, staff, and one and only Seher at the SPA! I truly enjoy emerging into different spa and relaxation opportunity everywhere we stay, and this time we decided to try Regent Signature, which ended up being the most enjoyable spa experience I have ever had thanks to Seher, the therapist whose healing energy you feel from the moment she starts the massage until the last second. She gives herself 100% into the ritual, using reflexogy, and this is honestly one of the main reasons we can’t wait to be back next month already! Thank you Seher!
