Hotel and island itself is miracle.beach front villa is a better deal than garden for sure. you have to ask for a lot of stuff to receive a proper service but staff is generally friendly, food is good generally. wedding service is very poor, no information, no response and %100 dissapearance after your return. weddings can be done until 13.0 pm only. according to your deal staff can take your photos but dont let them guide you towards their resources for such staff its not professional.wedding organizer offered us someone she knows that is aa proffessional as the hotel service with a bit of a better deal and it was not proffesional at all.you get nothing but you pay.try to make sure to get your documentation before you leave cause its not gonna be easy after your return. for masks some people were allowed to take them off completely some was all the time with masks so it depends to your negotiation skills.no internet in the wedding venue and noone will help for it so you cant broadcast your wedding for sure.

First all the good stuff. The location is truly amazing, a sizeable island which is practically all yours to explore, a hiker's paradise, a high-end beautiful resort which is designed immaculately, and one of the best beaches I've even been on.
The rooms are all gorgeous, particularly the larger ones (those that don't start with the number 1). The pool area is a big hit with the kids. The beach looks like a dream, soft soft white powdery sand, and during low tide the shallow calm water is ideal for kids, not to mention the colour of the water. The backdrop of steep hills covered in dense jungle completes the picture.
Another positive is the staff. many of them were truly exceptional, friendly and are a pleasure to engage with.
The current problem the resort has can be summed up in one word, which is management. All sorts of little things that can be improved really easily if only addressed.
The biggest such issue was the food. It was just not good enough for the price. It wasn't even a problem of cheap ingredients, it was just poor menu design. The main buffet restaurant offers poor variety relatively speaking. For lunch, options are very limited to mostly bland pizzas and nuggets-galore. The salads anywhere are inedible, particularly those offered via in-room dining. The restaurants available for dinner are highly limited in availability because of social distancing, and all put together can host just a fraction of the total number of guests, and the place was full for most of our stay. We did manage to try Grann Kaz, the Creole restaurant, which was actually pretty good, but we had to fight for a table, only to get there and see half the tables empty! And we stayed there till late, we were one of the last tables still there, so it wasn't about late diners, it was just poor space and bookings management.
A solution for example when capacity is high can be to expand the dining areas that serve restaurant menus to the huge buffet restaurant, or the poolside restaurant which is empty at night, or even in-room dining. It's there kind of solutions that are lacking.
Other little things include lawn-mowing starting at 7am (why?), performing some substantial construction work into the night, inability to book buggy service in advance (only 5mins before, and then you may have to wait up to 20mins or may get one in 2mins), not prioritising families with small children at check in (causing much kerfuffle in the check in area), and one hilarious instance where the buffet did a Mexican night and the chef making the tacos was actually cooking the avocado (clearly poor training).
We heard from other guests that were there in Oct and came back in Dec that it was much better in Oct and that there may be some new staffing or management issue, they also said the variety of food was much better before. Either way, we had an amazing time and I highly recommend this experience and hope the resort will get its act together on the small stuff sooner rather than later.

What's not to like lovely beachside location and rooms .
Arrived for 8 days unfortunately no restaurant available to book the whole time and staff could not care less . Ordered room service after finally getting through they have a limited choice got two rubbery pizzas and got explained that that the pizza is cooked in an electric oven not a pizza oven that is only used only at lunchtime.
Got a replacement penne arriabata , it was sweet with a prepared possibly bottled sauce and slapped together with undercooked penne not al dente on the positive side delivered in 10 mins. Please note there is nowhere else to go on this island so it feels more like a beautiful prison certainly feel second class.
Be careful of booking at peak times as it looks like they do not gave enough capacity phones not answered and no bikes.

Let me start by saying we spent four nights at this property and day on was not our best day, having arrived in the Seychelles the previous night we had to get up early rush through breakfast in another hotel fight the rush hour traffic to arrive at the Hilton lounge at the ferry port only to be told they had changed the departure time to accommodate another guest we had to wait two and half hours before the ferry departed when we arrived at the resort t the adjacent rooms we had booked for us and our travelling companions had been allocated to another guest who had decided to extend their stay our friends were then given a villa in what is the most unkempt part of the resort and was not adjacent to our villa we declined this option and were given a villa in the same line as us albeit four villas away which was an acceptable solution , unfortunately we then waited a further two and half hours for housekeeping to prepare the room this was definitely the straw that broke the camels back , to be fair the front of house manager was very apologetic and very fairly compensated us with cancellation of all the ferry cost and arranged a complimentary evening meal for four. This aside our stay was pleasant the villas are spacious and well equipped connectivity is excellent throughout the resort sleep quality is very good as is the bathroom which has both internal and external rain showers it???s a shame that the external shower does not have an external entrance which is normally the case. And makes returning from the beach a simple task without traipsing through the villa with traces of sand on you. Toiletries linen and towels are as you would expect of a property at this price point. Facilities of the resort include a nice beach , reasonable gym ,and attractive pool with ample loungers .There is a complimentary breakfast as well as several other restaurants for evening meals we tried them all and it has To be said the food is poor for a hotel of this standard breakfast is a buffet with chef service ,variety is limited quality very ordinary for a five star hotel the dinner restaurants are just very expensive and not very good for example the portobello is f probably the worst restaurant of its kind that I have eaten in and grossly overpriced bearing in mind the portion sizes which were minuscule. The saving grace of the resort is the staff who are mainly very friendly and polite . We spend about eight months a year travelling the world and always stay in five star properties some of which are considered the best available in their given region unfortunately this property does not fall into that category and we would not return.
