I have been visiting hotel Santo Tomas since 2009. First as a couple, then introducing my family, my now wife???s family and now my children. The hotel is more than a holiday; It is like revisiting family. Will and Andreu on reception, the unchanging Juan Ramon in the restaurants, Yomi, Mafe and Nancy all treat us like returning family rather than guests. Alba, the manager, sails an excellent ship.
We have fallen in love with this island and I ponder every rest moment about how I can spend longer in Menorca visiting my family.
This year, 2020, has been a particular challenge due to the pandemic, but despite this the hotel seemed upbeat and aimed to put a smile on our faces despite the difficult times. I think the staff have done a wonderful job at keeping us feeling safe and I hope and pray that the owners realise how well they have done despite the situation.
To my dear ???family,??? I pray that you have a safe and healthy 2020 and hope that our paths cross again in happier times. Thank you for all your efforts in maintaining an excellent establishment. You do a wonderful job in keeping your guests, new and returning, happy and relaxed.

Had a fantastic stay for two weeks in July. We stayed at the Meistral Apartments, but due to COVID 19 we were administered by staff at the Santo Tomas Hotel and we ate all our meals there.
The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, especially the Maitre d. The food was pretty good and being a buffet it succeeded in filling up my three children.
The hotel is set on the footpath just back from the beach and the views from the restaurant are over the sea. It has a good pool with a large, shady seating area around it.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel is right on the front with (non-sandy) beach although there is some sand a bit further along. We had a sea-view room which had sun on it all afternoon but is more expensive as a result.

Staff were very good. They went the extra mile in the restaurant for my partner who is dairy intolerant. The maitre d' provided her with her own member from the kitchen to show her around all of the dishes to say what she could and couldn't have. That was a really nice touch but it would be better if they had labels above the food. Could have been more choice when it came to dinner and not a patch on other hotels we have visited.
Fabulous crazy golf course just down the road!
Very nice indoor pool.

Stayed at this hotel for two weeks and had a very relaxing time. We had a sea view room on the second floor and the room was a decent size, bathroom was good with a large walk in shower with modern decor.
Rooms were very clean as was the whole hotel and all staff were very friendly and courteous.
The food for breakfast was very varied with plenty of choice. Evening meals were well presented and a variety of options available. However the food was very predictable and safe and lacked a certain sparkle. I think they could be a bit more adventurous,I would have liked some proper show cooking or a themed night of Menorcan food. Perhaps they might consider offering smoked salmon or even sushi which I have experienced in similar class hotels in Spain.
Plenty of beds around the pool area and no necessity to rush down but there were still people getting up early to grab a bed.
Entertainment was good and varied,it is all down to taste and age groups of clients.
The one area I found to be disappointed with was with the swimming pool, there is very little shallow water to just laze and chill out in, after about 20 ft the water is over 6 ft and then goes to over 10 ft.,fine for keeping fit but I did notice very few people were relaxing in the pool probably due to its overall depth,it is more like an old fashion swimming pool in a leisure centre, needs to move with the times and create a free form pool.
The pool for the small children was also a ridiculous depth, it was at least 2 ft in the shallow section and they have even fitted a ladder to help toddlers to get out. Really stupid.
