The welcoming town of Soufriere, nestled along the Western coast of St Lucia, has French origins, which are reflected in its charm and character. Ladera surprised us with its natural beauty, wonderful service, beautiful rooms and most stunning views. We spend 4 days there and were able to try every best experience that Saint Lucia can offer. The location is the best location on the island and if you want to experience Saint Lucia, don???t go anywhere else. For a second part of the trip we went to Sandals, which located at the north part of the island. You can???t compare experiences. Sandals is another resort that you can visit going to Mexico for way cheaper, any good excursions from Sandals will take you back to the south side of the island, which is more than an hour away. Ladera is the unique place that you won???t experience anywhere else in the world. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration so special.

Experiences, adventure, and the nurturing of love and romance. The Ladera Resort Suites embraces it all! The arrival experience seats you among the trees, hummingbirds, birds and natural vegetation, and garden where you will receive your welcome cocktail and begin your simulation into PARADISE.
Ladera is discreetly positioned showcasing the natural wonders of the Caribbean providing an indoor open to outdoor lifestyle in harmony with the surrounding environment. Our Gros Piton Suite featured outdoor covered spaces complete with lounge chairs, a private pool w waterfall, lush planting and a bird feeder that proved to be a continuous experience during our stay. The daybed and dining set up, bar area, small refrigerator stocked, coffee maker and sink...home sweet home. Upstairs is perfectly appointed bedroom and bathroom (double sinks), very spacious, again lush planting completely open privacy to enjoy the natural cool breezes and cross winds and VIEWS...no AC needed.Stay in your suite, or immerse in the Spa with the professionally trained therapists, we did not have time for this. We did however take the adventure to climb the Gros Piton, an experience like no other in the world. You can climb just as far as your able. A guide is required and an opportunity to support the locals. Be sure to take a sweat towel and water! When each day was complete we found great relaxation in the fantastic 3 leveled Hot Tubs...great for the body, mind, spirit, and aching muscles.
Ladera has it's very own Nature Trail. We explored all aspects of the breathtaking views and rope swings to relax during this adventure. We got a taste of the St. Lucia rainforest on this hike. The trails are very kind to the hiker and unique to this property. A waterfall is under construction and perfectly situated.
The restaurant Dasheen is highly recommended and the locals come due to the beautifully served and flavored cuisine and consistent excellence. The views from the restaurant and the Resort pool are Breathtaking! We adventured off the property to experience the many opportunities in St. Lucia, ie... learning to make a chocolate candy bar...fun and hard work and right across the street.
Finally, this all comes together with a staff accommodating your every wish. Beginning with the call to make the reservation Shay assured me we would have an exceptional stay and ending with every single employee and management team member greeting us along the way. St. Lucia is so clean and welcoming and so I hope you can find time to enjoy this Very Special Experience to Live Life to its Fullest!
